### For New Users

The migration has already been completed. New installations will automatically use `.agentic-qe/agentdb.db`.

### For Existing Users

If you need to re-migrate or migrate on another system:

## Known Issues

### ✅ Resolved

1. **Schema validation error with patterns table**
   - **Issue:** Migration failed when trying to create indexes for non-existent tables
   - **Fix:** Added table existence checks before index creation
   - **Status:** ✅ Resolved

2. **VACUUM in transaction error**
   - **Issue:** SQLite doesn't allow VACUUM inside transactions
   - **Fix:** Moved VACUUM outside transaction
   - **Status:** ✅ Resolved

### ⚠️ Minor Warnings (Non-Blocking)

1. **Claude Flow hook schema incompatibility**
   - **Warning:** `no such column: namespace` in hook initialization
   - **Impact:** None - hooks are optional coordination features
   - **Status:** Known issue with claude-flow package, does not affect migration

## Recommendations

### Backup Retention

Keep migration backups for at least **30 days**:

### Cleanup

After 30 days of stable operation, you can safely remove:

1. Old backup files (`agentdb.db.backup.*`)
2. Original database file (`agentdb.db` in project root)

**DO NOT remove these until you've verified the new database works correctly!**

Monitor the new database location:
