## 💡 Lessons Learned

1. **Parallel agent execution works well** - Used swarm of agents to analyze and create journey tests concurrently
2. **Journey tests are more valuable** - One well-designed journey test can replace multiple unit tests
3. **Duplicate analysis is critical** - The baseagent-consolidation-plan.md analysis identified significant overlap
4. **Real database testing matters** - Journey tests using SwarmMemoryManager with real SQLite provide better confidence
5. **Aggressive cleanup is effective** - Systematic batch analysis (DELETE/KEEP criteria) enables rapid, confident decisions
6. **Phase files become obsolete** - Phase 1/2/3 tests were superseded by journey tests and can be safely deleted
7. **Implementation detail tests are low-value** - Tests that mock core dependencies provide false confidence
8. **60% reduction is achievable** - With clear criteria (user value vs implementation details), massive reduction is possible
