- Add argument label to foregroundStyle(_:) with usage example
- Use concrete string in coordinateSpace(.named("scroll")) example
- Update Quick Lookup Table to match
- Split charts.md into two files per progressive disclosure:
charts.md for core 2D Charts patterns, and
charts-accessibility.md for accessibility, complete examples,
fallback strategies, WWDC sessions, and summary checklist
- Update SKILL.md workflow tree, review checklist, and references list
to reference both charts files
- Update README skill structure tree
- Add @ViewBuilder state-independence note to view-structure.md
Addresses Omar's review feedback (file too big) and remaining
Copilot review comments.
- Fix remaining force-unwrap in AXChartDescriptorRepresentable example
(steps.first!/steps.last! → guard let)
- Split charts.md (798 lines) into two files per progressive disclosure:
charts.md (~690 lines) for core 2D Charts patterns, and
charts-accessibility.md (~100 lines) for accessibility, fallback
strategies, WWDC sessions, and summary checklist
- Update SKILL.md workflow tree, review checklist, and references list
to reference both charts files
- Update README skill structure tree
- Add @ViewBuilder state-independence note to view-structure.md
Addresses Omar's review feedback on PR #40 (file too big) and
remaining Copilot review comment (force-unwraps).
Revert production-code-oriented feedback that added boilerplate back to
skill reference examples (full struct context, guard clauses, #available
branches). These expansions optimize for human copy-paste workflows, not
AI agent pattern recognition.
Kept genuinely valid fixes: syntax corrections (coordinateSpace,
foregroundStyle), naming accuracy (Compact Replacements heading).
Updated .github/copilot-instructions.md with a "This Is a Skill, Not a
Codebase" section to prevent future reviews from applying production-code
standards to reference patterns.
- Restore #available(iOS 17, *) branch in ChartProxy overlay for iOS 16 fallback
- Restore guard for empty steps array in AXChartDescriptor example
- Rename "Simple Renames" to "Compact Replacements" with accurate description
- Fix coordinateSpace syntax to use concrete example
- Fix foregroundStyle(_:) to include parameter
- Add minimal struct context to @StateObject/@ObservedObject and init examples
- Add context comment to performance config snippet
Collapse simple API renames to inline lists, remove duplicate code blocks,
shorten overly expanded examples, and deduplicate Table content across
macos-views.md and list-patterns.md. Update README to better communicate
the skill's breadth-to-context-efficiency ratio.
Total reference content reduced from ~7,998 to ~6,816 lines (~15% reduction)
with zero information loss.
- Remove force-unwraps in AXChartDescriptorRepresentable example;
use guard let for safe empty-array handling
- Wrap LinePlot function plot example in #available(iOS 18, *)
- Expand SKILL.md charts checklist to explicitly gate iOS 18+ and
iOS 26+ APIs alongside iOS 17+
Build on PR #39's foundation by adding missing sections inspired by
jordibruin/Swift-Charts-Examples (used with permission):
- Styling and visual channels (foregroundStyle, chartForegroundStyleScale, symbols, legends)
- Composing multiple marks (line+point overlays, bar+threshold combos)
- Animating chart data with stable identity
- Accessibility (VoiceOver, Audio Graph, AXChartDescriptorRepresentable)
- Expanded Plot types (iOS 18+) with function plot example
- Expanded Chart3D (iOS 26+) with SurfacePlot, camera, and pose APIs
- WWDC Sessions section (7 sessions from 2022-2025)
- Updated best practices and summary checklist
Fix Copilot review feedback: link charts.md from SKILL.md workflow
decision tree, review checklist, and references list.
Add Jordi Bruin credit to README acknowledgments.
Prefer .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, alignment:) over wrapping views
in HStack + Spacer for full-width layout.

The GitHub stars shields.io endpoint defaults to the "social" style,
which intermittently renders as "invalid". Adding ?style=flat forces
the standard flat style consistent with the other badges. Also updated
the link to point to the stargazers page.
When layered views (overlay/background) are clipped with clipShape,
each layer is antialiased separately, producing visible color fringes
at rounded corners. Adding .compositingGroup() before .clipShape()
composites all layers first so antialiasing is applied only once.

- Replace "view models" with architecture-neutral language in
SKILL.md and performance-patterns.md (per AGENTS.md guidelines)
- Fix presentationBackground -> presentationBackground(_:) in
liquid-glass.md for consistent Swift symbol naming
- Fix concentric corner style example (.continuous -> .concentric)
in latest-apis.md
- Use full signature scrollEdgeEffectStyle(_:for:) in quick lookup
table
- Add Scene Bridging code example in latest-apis.md
