マルコメ f54d597563 examples: update gitignore files for parity for yarn recommendations (#71956)
## What?
Update examples `.gitignore` files for parity with [Yarn's official
recommendations](https://v3.yarnpkg.com/getting-started/qa#which-files-should-be-gitignored),
accounting for Yarn's modern Plug-n-Play functionality.

## Why?
New projects initialized with `create-next-app` presently add various
extraneous files from the Yarn cache to the initial commit. This is most
notable in the case of the Next SWC binary, which may exceed 100M in
some environments (empirically, 64-bit Darwin and WSL2 Ubuntu, and very
probably other unix/linux environments), and prevent users from pushing
their new projects to free GitHub repositories without rewriting the
commit history to exclude the extraneous files, or unnecessarily setting
up Git LFS to include them.

## How?
I have errored on the side of exclusion to enable users to push their
CNA projects to GitHub as-is and for parity with other package managers,
while still providing the opportunity to opt in to additional
functionality provided by modern Yarn.

These changes follow the recommendations for
**non**-[Zero-Install](https://yarnpkg.com/features/caching#zero-installs)
configurations, as Zero-Install functionality is an extension on top of
the base package manager experience, and may necessitate additional
configuration and present additional complications for unsuspecting
users, so I think it's best left up to the user to opt-in. On account of
the majority of publicly available Next.js-based projects comprising
general consumer-facing websites, it is my belief that the majority of
Next projects would not benefit from Yarn's Zero-Install functionality,
and that explicitly facilitating it by default would break status quo
with all other non-Yarn CNA projects.

Contrary to the example `.gitignore`s provided by Yarn, I've excluded
the `.yarn/sdks` directory as it contains IDE-specific tooling; I feel
it would be presumptuous for an environmentally-agnostic tool to target
and provide package-manager-specific tooling for specific editors. This
too should be left to the user to opt-in to and provide for their
project if they deem necessary.

I have retained the current `.gitignore`'s exclusion of the `/.pnp`
directory for backwards compatibility with older versions of Yarn (the
files therein have since been reallocated to the `.yarn` directory
addressed by these changes, but I am not clear on when that delineation
occurred or the prevalence of Yarn installations which depend on the
former convention). Maintaining the exclusion here, in the worst case,
implies additional downloads (on an order of magnitude merely similar to
using npm from the outset) rather than failure.

suu3 6284d41f0d examples: replaced GTM component with GA in Google Analytics example (#73597)
### What?
Replaced the `GoogleTagManager` component with `GoogleAnalytics` in the
`with-google-analytics` example.

### Why?
The current implementation does not align with the
[docs](https://nextjs.org/docs/app/building-your-application/optimizing/third-party-libraries#google-analytics),
and a separate GTM example already exists.

### How?
Replaced the `GoogleTagManager` component with `GoogleAnalytics`.

Steven 4466ba436b chore(examples): use default prettier for examples/templates (#60530)
## Description
This PR ensures that the default prettier config is used for examples
and templates.

This config is compatible with `prettier@3` as well (upgrading prettier
is bigger change that can be a future PR).

## Changes
- Updated `.prettierrc.json` in root with `"trailingComma": "es5"` (will
be needed upgrading to prettier@3)
- Added `examples/.prettierrc.json` with default config (this will
change every example)
- Added `packages/create-next-app/templates/.prettierrc.json` with
default config (this will change every template)

leung018 66597be8a7 Add .yarn/install-state.gz to .gitignore (#56637)
### Reason for making this change
https://yarnpkg.com/getting-started/qa#:~:text=yarn%2Finstall%2Dstate.,your%20workspaces%20all%20over%20again.
In the official documentation of `yarn`, it is stated that `.yarn/install-state.gz` is an optimization file that developer shouldn't ever have to commit. However, currently, when running `create-next-app`, `.yarn/install-state.gz` is being commited.

### Remaining work
I apologize for only modifying one template initially to initiate the discussion first.

If this change is agreed upon, it should be synchronized with other `.gitignore` templates. Would it be possible to follow a similar approach as in https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/47241? I would appreciate any assistance in syncing this change.

## Documentation / Examples

- [x] Make sure the linting passes by running `pnpm build && pnpm lint`
- [x] The "examples guidelines" are followed from [our contributing
doc](https://github.com/vercel/next.js/blob/canary/contributing/examples/adding-examples.md)

First of all thanks for this amazing project and all the help you
provide with these examples.

It seems there is code duplication in this example. After some tests
locally seem to _document.js is not necessary for `gtag` to work
properly.

https://github.com/vercel/next.js/blob/9d97a1e34a8a6e09eb127292c730d1a8df63ebb6/examples/with-google-analytics/pages/_app.js#L30-L34

https://github.com/vercel/next.js/blob/9d97a1e34a8a6e09eb127292c730d1a8df63ebb6/examples/with-google-analytics/pages/_document.js#L13-L17

I am aware of https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/40645 and I would
like to ask @dave-hay, @SukkaW and @ijjk to consider this is still
necessary. If so why then not move all content of the scripts from _app
to _document?

In any case, I am open to adding here some comments explaining what is
the reason for this code duplication if necessary.

<hr/>

Changes that come from https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/43897

1. The `event` hashChangeComplete should be removed since `/home` and
`/home/#section` is not new pageview, but just reference to the same
page.

If we go from /home to /home/#section (with a button click or a link for
example) this shouldn't trigger a new page visit on `gtag`.

For this reason, I think we should revert the changes from
https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/36079. If there is a better
argument of why this should stay I am also open to creating comments to
clarify this on the example since I don't think should be the default
behavior and not useful in most cases.

2. The `id="gtag-init"` was added with no context to the example from
https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/29530

If there is a reason for this id in the script to existing I am open to
adding a comment that clarifies this since in my experience is not
necessary at all.

Aaron Adler ee266b9d9b Move Google Analytics script to the <Head/> (#43838)
Fixes #[37957](https://github.com/vercel/next.js/issues/37957)

Google cannot read the Google Analytics script if it is placed at the bottom of the `<body />`.

It can only be read when it's placed here in the `<Head />`

This has been documented by other NextJS users online, and by Google themselves, which directs users to place the script in the head.

Hope this helps NextJS users!

Clean up package.json files in the `examples` directory:
- Add `private: true`
- Remove `version` (because they are irrelevant for packages that are not meant to be published)
- Remove `name` (because they are optional for packages that are not meant to be published, and when someone clones an example, they often rename it and the property becomes stale)
- Remove `author`
- Remove `description`
- Remove `license`

Also remove `with-dynamic-app-layout` example completely, since it does the same as `layout-component` (https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/27121#discussion_r668178408).

TodorTotev 8618ab85ad More redundant imports @ examples (#13190)
Again, related to [12964](https://github.com/zeit/next.js/issues/12964)

After checking all the other examples and the ongoing pull requests, I believe that with this PR being merged, all the examples should be free of redundant react imports.
Let me know if you want me to edit anything that you don't like.
