Dhravya Shah 47d9149162 test: prune redundant tests, unify the ANSI-strip helper ...

Dropped three that added no coverage: the state-independence test
(its one unique assert — search query never persisted — moved into the
isolation test), the countLoadedProfileItems unit test (covered
end-to-end by session-start), and the 15-iteration label-stability
loop (now a single time-invariance assert in the tally test). One
plain() helper strips both ANSI colors and OSC-8 links everywhere.
