The description promises `dispatched: false` for "an `await-ui-element`, which only polls the UI tree and acts on nothing whether or not its condition held". A cancelled wait is one whose condition did not hold, and it is the one exit that gets no `steps` entry at all: the batch breaks before the push, as every other cancel exit here does, so there is no entry to carry the marker and nothing re-attaches it downstream. A caller written to the rule the sentence states therefore got no answer for a cancelled wait, and had to infer the cancel from `steps.length < total`, which the description did not mention. It does now, and the test that pins the short list pins the sentence with it.
