- reportUnusedDisableDirectives: error — a stale or unjustified eslint-disable is now a hard failure, so suppressions can't accumulate or be used to dodge a rule (the tree already had dead directives before this gate existed). - lint script runs with --max-warnings 0 so a future warn-level rule can't pass CI silently. No-ops against the current tree (0 disables, 0 warnings); guardrails for what comes next.
