Risk Mitigation

Risk 1: Breaking Existing v1.1.0 Features

Mitigation:

  • Keep JSON storage as fallback
  • Add feature flags for AgentDB
  • Graceful degradation if AgentDB fails

Risk 2: Performance Not Meeting Claims

Mitigation:

  • Implement proper benchmarking first
  • Measure baseline before optimization
  • Use caching and indexing strategically

Risk 3: QUIC Security Issues

Mitigation:

  • Use TLS 1.3 from start
  • Certificate validation required
  • Add peer authentication

Risk 4: Complex Integration

Mitigation:

  • Start with simple embedding (hash-based)
  • Add ML models incrementally
  • Test each component independently
