Known Issues - v1.0.0
This document tracks known issues in the current release that will be addressed in future updates.
Test Suite Issues
Unit Test Failures (31 tests)
Status: Non-blocking for npm publish Priority: Medium Target Fix: v1.0.1
Root Causes
-
Task Data Mocking
- Some tests expect full task data structures with
sourceCodeproperties - Mock tasks in tests are missing required data fields
- Affects:
TestGeneratorAgenttests
- Some tests expect full task data structures with
-
EventBus Call Counts
- Test expectations for
mockLogger.infocall counts don't match actual implementation - EventBus initializes with multiple log calls per operation
- Affects:
EventBus.test.ts- "should handle multiple initialization calls gracefully"
- Test expectations for
-
Agent Lifecycle Mocking
waitForCompletionmock expectations need verification- Some async operations complete faster than test expectations
- Affects:
Agent.test.ts- "should wait for current task completion before stopping"
Workaround
The core functionality is tested and working. Integration tests and E2E tests provide coverage for real-world scenarios.
Action Items
- Update task mocks with complete data structures
- Adjust EventBus test expectations to match implementation
- Add timing controls to agent lifecycle tests
- Consider refactoring test data factories for consistency
Build & Packaging
✅ Resolved
- bin/agentic-qe symlink: Created successfully
- package.json prepublishOnly: Added

- Integration tests: 768-1536 MB
- Performance tests: 1536 MB
- Coverage tests: 1024-1536 MB
Solution: Tests include memory cleanup helpers and resource tracking.
Breaking Changes
None - this is the initial release.
Migration Guide
