Profa 26908cb677 chore(release): v1.8.1 - Safety & Test Quality Improvements
## Fixed

- **P0: Simulation Mode Runtime Guards** (TestExecutorAgent)
  - Requires AQE_ALLOW_SIMULATION=true environment variable
  - Prevents silent simulation in production environments
  - Throws explicit error with clear instructions

- **P2: Explicit Error Handling** (RealAgentDBAdapter)
  - Replaced silent fallback (return 0) with explicit validation
  - Fails loudly with actionable error messages
  - Detects database corruption and schema mismatches

- **P1: Test Isolation with UUID** (Integration Tests)
  - Replaced Date.now() with randomUUID() for database paths
  - Eliminates race conditions in parallel test execution
  - Uses OS temp directory for proper cleanup

All critical security vulnerabilities have been fixed with production-grade security controls.

📚 Documentation

1. Quick Start

2. Security Implementation

3. Transport Guide

🚀 Quick Start

Production Setup (Let's Encrypt)

# 1. Install certbot
sudo apt-get install certbot

# 2. Get certificate
sudo certbot certonly --standalone -d fleet.yourdomain.com

# 3. Configure
export NODE_ENV=production

# 4. Run
npm start

Development Setup

# Generate self-signed cert
openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:4096 -keyout dev-key.pem -out dev-cert.pem \
  -days 365 -nodes -subj "/CN=localhost"

# Set environment
export NODE_ENV=development

# Run
npm run dev

✅ What Was Fixed

  1. ✅ Self-Signed Certificate Generation (CRITICAL)

    • Removed automatic self-signed certificate generation
    • Enforced CA-signed certificates in production
  2. ✅ Certificate Validation Disabled (CRITICAL)

    • Enforced rejectUnauthorized: true in production
    • Cannot be overridden
  3. ✅ Certificate Pinning (ENHANCEMENT)

    • Added SHA-256 fingerprint validation
    • MITM attack prevention
  4. ✅ Security Configuration (ENHANCEMENT)

    • Comprehensive security.json
    • Environment-specific settings
  5. ✅ Documentation (CRITICAL)

    • Complete security guides
    • Certificate setup procedures
    • Best practices

🧪 Testing

# Run security tests
npm test tests/security/tls-validation.test.ts

# Verify certificate
openssl x509 -in cert.pem -text -noout

# Test TLS connection
openssl s_client -connect fleet.example.com:4433 -tls1_3
