* SwarmMemoryManager Refactoring Plan * fix: add missing directories to npm package (v1.9.3) Added templates/, .claude/helpers/, and docs/reference/ to package.json files array. Phase 4: CI/CD Quality Gates Implementation Summary
Issue: #69 Implementation Date: 2025-11-29 Status: ✅ Complete
Overview

Integration Points
1. ControlLoopReporter
Quality gates use the existing ControlLoopReporter from the reporting system:
import { ControlLoopReporter, ControlLoopConfig } from '../src/reporting';
const config: ControlLoopConfig = {
minPassRate: 0.95,
minCoverage: 80,
maxCriticalVulnerabilities: 0,
maxHighVulnerabilities: 2
};
const reporter = new ControlLoopReporter(config);
const output = reporter.report(aggregatedResults);
const feedback: ControlLoopFeedback = JSON.parse(output.content);
// Deployment decision
process.exit(feedback.signals.canDeploy ? 0 : 1);
2. Alerting System
Quality gate metrics integrate with Prometheus alerting rules (config/alerting-rules.yml):
- alert: QualityGateFailed
expr: aqe_quality_gate_pass_rate < 1.0
labels:
severity: error
component: quality
alert_type: quality_gate
3. Test Execution
Quality gates run after test execution:
# Unit tests
npm run test:unit
# Integration tests
npm run test:integration
# Quality gate evaluation
npx ts-node scripts/quality-gate.ts
Default Quality Thresholds
| Metric | Threshold | Severity |
|---|---|---|
| Test Pass Rate | ≥ 95% | Critical |
| Code Coverage | ≥ 80% | High |
| Critical Vulnerabilities | 0 | Critical |
| High Vulnerabilities | ≤ 2 | High |
| Quality Score | ≥ 70 | High |
Usage Examples
Example 1: Local Testing
# Run tests
npm run test:unit
npm run test:integration
# Evaluate quality gates
npx ts-node scripts/quality-gate.ts \
--min-coverage 80 \
--min-pass-rate 0.95 \
--pr-comment
Example 2: GitHub Actions (Using Reusable Action)
- name: Quality Gate
uses: ./.github/actions/quality-gate
with:
min-coverage: '80'
min-pass-rate: '0.95'
fail-on-violation: 'true'
Example 3: Custom Thresholds via Workflow Dispatch
workflow_dispatch:
inputs:
min_coverage:
default: '85'
min_pass_rate:
default: '0.98'
