fix: ReasoningBank learning pipeline — 6 issues fixed with 25 tests
After brutal honesty review exposed fragile implementations and zero
test coverage, reworked the critical issues properly:
N1: Replace fire-and-forget polling IIFE with event-driven trajectory
close via CrossDomainEventRouter TaskCompleted/TaskFailed events.
Subscribed during fleet init, unsubscribed on dispose.
N2: Clean up generate-tests payload mapping — filePaths and codeContext
already exist on TaskOrchestrateParams (lines 265-267).
N3: Add queryCount() to UnifiedMemoryManager with SQL injection-safe
allowlist. Wire into fleet_status learning metrics response.
N4: Fix memory_usage to return real vector/namespace counts from
HybridMemoryBackend instead of hardcoded zeros.
N5: Simplify memory_store persistence check — HybridMemoryBackend
always persists to SQLite when initialized. Remove duck-typing.
N6: Fix object return type assertion ordering in all 5 test generators
(7 locations). Check for '{' before primitive type matching to
prevent misclassifying { valid: boolean } as boolean.
Also: consolidate ReasoningBank/PatternStore embeddings from 768-dim
to 384-dim (all-MiniLM-L6-v2). Coverage-analysis 768-dim indices are
intentionally separate and unchanged.
25 new tests across 5 test files. 157/157 passing.

refactor(skills): remove all validate.sh scripts, use cross-platform Node.js validators
Delete 104 bash validate.sh files and 4 validate.template.sh templates. Skill validation now uses validate-config.json (declarative) + validate-skill.cjs (universal runner) — fully cross-platform. - Delete .claude/skills/*/scripts/validate.sh (55 files) - Delete v3/assets/skills/*/scripts/validate.sh (47 files) - Delete v3/.claude/skills/*/scripts/validate.sh (52 files via sync) - Delete validator-lib.sh and validate.template.sh templates (6 files) - Update all SKILL.md frontmatter: validator_path → validate-config.json - Update all eval YAML files to reference validate-config.json - Update trust-tier-manifest.json, CI workflow, docs, and ADR-056 - Fix validate-tier3.cjs to use validate-skill.cjs instead of bash - Remove .sh fallback from validate-skill.cjs Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(v3.4.2): add skill validation system with trust tiers (ADR-056) (#221)
* fix(v3.4.1): bundle missing dependencies and test timeouts - Fixed issue #219: MCP bundle failing due to missing packages - Changed build scripts from --packages=external to selective externalization - Pure JS deps (fast-json-patch, jose, uuid) now bundled inline - Native modules properly externalized (better-sqlite3, hnswlib-node, etc.) - CommonJS modules with dynamic requires externalized (typescript, fast-glob, yaml, commander, cli-progress, ora) - Bundle size reduced from ~15MB to ~5MB - Added timeouts to handleQualityAssess tests to prevent CI failures - Updated version to 3.4.1 Closes #219 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(v3.4.2): add skill validation system with trust tiers (ADR-056) Implement 4-layer skill validation system for deterministic outputs: - Tier 3 (Verified): 46 skills with full eval test suites - Tier 2 (Validated): 7 skills with executable validators - Tier 1 (Structured): 5 skills with JSON output schemas - Tier 0 (Advisory): 5 skills with SKILL.md guidance only Key additions: - JSON Schema validation templates for skill outputs - Executable validator scripts for correctness verification - Evaluation test framework with multi-model support - CLI commands: aqe skill report/summary/compare, aqe eval run/status - ReasoningBank integration for validation pattern learning - GitHub Actions workflow for CI skill validation - Trust tier frontmatter in all 63 skill SKILL.md files - Comprehensive documentation and user guides Infrastructure: - .claude/skills/.validation/ - Templates and frameworks - .claude/skills/*/schemas/ - Output schemas per skill - .claude/skills/*/scripts/ - Validator scripts per skill - .claude/skills/*/evals/ - Test cases per skill Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(ci): trust tier-based skill validation - Tier 3 (Verified): Blocks PR on validation failure - Tier 2 (Validated): Warns only, doesn't block - Tier 1 (Structured): Warns only, doesn't block - Tier 0 (Advisory): Skipped entirely Reads trust_tier from SKILL.md frontmatter to determine validation requirements. Only 46 Tier 3 skills block merge. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(validators): remove local keyword from self-test blocks Shell script fix: 'local' can only be used inside functions, not in if/else blocks. Both accessibility-testing and compatibility-testing validators had 'local' declarations in their self-test sections that caused errors when run outside of a function context. - Remove local test_file from accessibility-testing self-test - Remove local test_file, browser_count, tier1_pass from compatibility-testing self-test - Sync fixes to v3/assets/skills/ Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(validators): add --self-test support to n8n skill validators The 5 n8n skill validators were failing CI because they didn't handle the --self-test flag properly. Added self-test handling that: - Checks for required tools (jq) - Verifies schema file exists and is valid JSON - Returns exit 0 on success Fixed validators: - n8n-expression-testing - n8n-integration-testing-patterns - n8n-security-testing - n8n-trigger-testing-strategies - n8n-workflow-testing-fundamentals Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix: v1.8.4 - Learning persistence and hook schema fixes
This release fixes critical issues preventing learning data persistence and pre-edit hook failures in QE agents running as Claude Code subagents. ## Fixed Issues ### 1. Memory Manager Fragmentation (#66) - Multiple isolated SwarmMemoryManager instances caused data fragmentation - Implemented singleton pattern via MemoryManagerFactory - All components now share same database connection - Data properly persists across agent executions ### 2. Database Closure on Exit (#66) - sql.js (WASM SQLite) requires explicit close() to persist - Added process exit handlers (SIGINT, SIGTERM, exit, uncaughtException) - Ensures data survives process termination ### 3. Memory Backup Schema Mismatch - memory-backup.ts referenced 'namespace' but schema uses 'partition' - Also referenced 'timestamp' instead of 'createdAt' - Fixed all 5 affected lines (80, 84, 85, 132, 134) - Pre-edit hooks now work without "no such column: namespace" errors ## Changes ### Added - src/core/memory/MemoryManagerFactory.ts - Singleton pattern implementation - Process exit handlers for graceful database closure - getSharedMemoryManager(), initializeSharedMemoryManager(), resolveDbPath() ### Modified - src/mcp/server.ts - Use singleton memory manager - src/mcp/services/AgentRegistry.ts - Use singleton memory manager - src/mcp/handlers/phase2/Phase2Tools.ts - Use singleton memory manager - src/mcp/handlers/memory/memory-backup.ts - Fixed schema column names - src/core/memory/index.ts - Export factory functions ### Documentation - Fixed GitHub URLs from ruvnet/agentic-qe-cf to proffesor-for-testing/agentic-qe - Updated CLAUDE.md, skills, and guides ## Testing - Verified singleton pattern with test project - Confirmed learning data persists (3 experiences, 3 Q-values, 3 patterns) - No temp_*.db files created - Database grows correctly (26MB with new data) - Average reward: 0.93 (excellent performance) Closes #66 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com> |
