## What?

Backports #18094 to `3.x`.

## Why?

The `3.x` documentation has the same ambiguity about `pagination: false`
and positive limits.

## How?

The updated text separates pagination calculations from document limits.
It also identifies the two supported ways to return all matching
documents.
