Restore npm package (deleted in v2 strip) and upgrade to v4.0.0:
- 3-line layout: session identity, git state, context bricks
- New: agent name (@name), worktree indicator (wt), output style,
extended context warning (73%!)
- Cross-platform Node.js script (no jq/bash dependency)
- Bash version kept as legacy option
Published to npm as contextbricks@4.0.0.

Drop 96 knowledge-dump skills, gut infrastructure, rebuild survivors
as recipe-style SKILL.md files under 500 lines. Adopt Anthropic's
official skill-creator. Add memory-manager and icon-set-generator.
CLAUDE.md: 2,100 → 85 lines. Total SKILL.md: 3,892 → 1,577 lines.
Full history preserved in v1-final tag.

The marketplace previously defined 12 separate plugins (ai, auth, cloudflare, etc.)
each with source: './'. Claude Code's plugin loader clones the entire repo for each
plugin, resulting in 12 copies × 95 skills = 1,140 duplicate entries.
This caused severe performance issues and session hangs.
Fix: Single 'all' plugin that loads all skills once without category prefixes.
Affected users should run:
rm -rf ~/.claude/plugins/cache/claude-skills/
Skills now appear as /skill-name instead of /category:skill-name
Settings.json now uses ~/.claude/statusline.sh instead of
absolute paths like /Users/jez or /home/jez. This allows
Syncthing users to sync settings between Mac and Linux.
Bumps version to 3.4.1
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
v3.4.0 changes:
- Add working directory display (tilde-compressed, e.g., ~/Documents/project)
- Add support for `used_percentage` and `remaining_percentage` fields
- Official percentages are more accurate than manual calculation
- Maintains fallback to `current_usage` token calculation for older versions
Claude Code 2.1.6+ changelog:
"Added context_window.used_percentage and context_window.remaining_percentage
fields to status line input for easier context window display"

Anthropic released Claude Code 2.0.70 with new current_usage field that provides
accurate current context window usage. This replaces the cumulative tokens that
never reset after compaction.
- Use context_window.current_usage for accurate token counting
- Remove complex compaction detection workarounds
- Simplify code by ~100 lines (removed transcript parsing)
- Re-enable brick visualization

Context tracking disabled because Anthropic's context_window API provides
cumulative session tokens that never reset after compaction, making
context percentages meaningless (e.g., showing 144% after compact).
See: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/13783
Changes:
- Comment out brick visualization code (preserved for future re-enable)
- Keep duration and cost tracking (still works)
- Update README with prominent notice
- Bump version to 3.0.0
Will re-enable when Anthropic fixes the API to provide actual current
context usage instead of cumulative session totals.

- Add hybrid compaction detection (cumulative > limit triggers transcript parsing)
- Show real current context usage after automatic compaction
- Add 📦 indicator when compaction detected
- Fix >100% display issue (e.g., "246% (492k/200k)" now shows actual usage)
When Claude Code compacts context, the cumulative token counters don't reset.
This fix detects compaction and parses the transcript for the last message's
input_tokens to show actual current context window usage.

While Opus 4/4.5 models have 1M token context at API level, Claude Code
CLI enforces a 200k limit for all models. This caused the status line
to incorrectly display "106k/1000k tokens" when using Opus, making the
progress bar and percentage calculations misleading.
- Update statusline.sh to use 200k for opus-4* models
- Add clarifying comments about Claude Code limits
- Update README and CLI help text to reflect accurate limits
Changes:
- Clarified that npx contextbricks (no command) is simplest
- Updated Quick Start sections in all READMEs
- Added note: "no need for init - runs automatically"
- Made default command more prominent
