- Prefer nu-check --debug for scripts and modules; reserve IDE checks for structured diagnostics and clarify that source executes code.
- Preserve relative import context and separate trusted program templates from serialized data across interpreter boundaries.
- Replace the broken generated-command test runner with named closures that reject empty selections and stop on failed assertions.
- Add six executable regression groups, three evaluation prompts, and evidence from the official English docs and Nushell source.
- Verify all three smoke suites on Nu 0.115.1 and check formatting, local documentation links, and prompt integrity.
Two-axis review of 95d71c2, plus reproduction on nu 0.115.0, surfaced guidance
that does not match the release, claims the changelog does not support, and a
reference file with no cross-links.
- Warn that `to yaml --non-roundtrip 'lossy'` is rejected on 0.115.0 and that a
bare `null` is a parse error; recommend `'null'` or `--serialize` instead
- Document that a `try/finally` nested inside an outer `try`/`catch` silently
skips the inner `finally`, with the two shapes that do run cleanup
- Narrow the semver inference note to `bool`-declared parameters; `if` and bare
expressions are unaffected
- Add YAML 1.1 sexagesimal coercion, `to yaml --multiple`, the `--serialize`
deprecation notice, `--compact-list-indent`, `--key-resolution strict`,
`--include (-i)`, and KDL `--format`
- Add `into matrix` as the matrix constructor; bare `matrix` takes no input
- Add seven further 0.115 behavior changes: parse-time `$in` RHS typing,
`color_config` defaults, interpolation subexpression quoting, `stor import`,
`generate`, `match` const arms, and `oneof` negative args
- Correct `deprecation_info` to a table read as `.0`, keyword shadowing to the
module name, and `save` to a clearer message rather than new enforcement
- Mark the `--loose` round-trip and semver notes as reproduction-verified
rather than changelog-sourced
- Link the 0.115 reference to its six siblings and add a routing section
- Split the smoke test into behavior-named cases, extract `run-nu-json` and
`run-nu-lines`, assert fixture cleanup, and lock both 0.115.0 defects so a
patched Nu fails the assertions
- Move the `save` serializer rule out of the 0.115 data-format section
- Sync README structure line, feature bullet, and smoke-test coverage
Verified on nu 0.115.0: both smoke tests exit 0 with zero `--ide-check` error
diagnostics; all cross-file links and heading anchors resolve.
- Add references/daemon-and-e2e-smoke-tests.md covering job-spawn lifecycle
checks: mktemp isolation, deadline-based readiness polling, job ID/PID
tracking, finally cleanup, and post-cleanup verification
- Add tests/validation-and-daemon-smoke.nu, an executable regression test
that validates JSONL IDE diagnostic classification and daemon job cleanup
- Document --ide-check caveats in SKILL.md: zero exit code with Error
diagnostics, empty output for missing files, hint-record handling, and
--no-config-file reproducibility
- Register the new reference in the SKILL.md routing table and README tree
- Extend test-prompts.json with prompts 16-17 covering ide-check exit-code
review and E2E smoke-test review
- Keep cross-cutting Nushell guidance in the always-loaded skill
- Move Nu 0.114 migration details into an on-demand reference
- Document the new reference and validate routed links
Update nushell-pro guidance for Nushell 0.114 language and command changes.
- Add core Nu 0.114 migration notes for stricter type checks, run, POSIX --, SemVer, submodule imports, diagnostics, and spreadsheet flags
- Refresh references for type system, modules/scripts, review checklist, Bash conversion, anti-patterns, and Polars 0.54 behavior
- Add Nu 0.114 test prompts and README coverage
- Add references/dataframes.md: comprehensive guide covering lazy/eager
frames, open/collect, group-by, agg, joins, expressions, column selectors,
type annotations, and large-data best practices
- Add anti-pattern #24: native loops/group-by on huge datasets vs. Polars
- Extend SKILL.md with Polars decision guidance, large-data section,
review checklist item, pitfall table row, and reference link
- Update README.md to mention dataframes reference and bump anti-pattern count
- Add test prompt #4 for the large-data / Polars use case
- Cross-link dataframes.md from advanced-patterns.md and data-and-types.md
