The agent-consumability section produced HTML a downstream agent could
reason over -- locate one item from source, no hidden metadata copy -- but
never said why that property exists. A future editor could weaken the
semantic structure (collapse <article> boundaries, demote a field label to
an attribute) without realizing a consumer depends on it.
State that the semantic structure IS the extraction contract, and is what
makes the single-source-of-truth invariant (no data-* or JSON mirror) safe
rather than lossy. Applied to all three byte-identical copies (ce-plan,
ce-brainstorm, ce-ideate); the drift test keeps them in sync.
ce-ideate resolves an output mode in Phase 0.0 (CLI output: arg > the
ideate_output config key > default html, with a pipeline force-md), writes
the deliverable automatically after generation, shows a concise in-session
summary, and offers a reworked next-steps menu (Open in browser / Brainstorm
one idea / Iterate on one idea / Done) with a substance-seed handoff to
ce-brainstorm. No-repo deliverables land in the CE temp area, never the
user's CWD. Adds references/ideation-sections.md (the section contract) and
the byte-identical markdown/html rendering references (covered by the drift
test).
Also strengthens the shared HTML rendering reference, which improves ce-plan
and ce-brainstorm as well:
- Chips/pills render as a uniform set, never a one-edge accent.
- Hand-authored SVG legibility: no stroke (arrow or shape edge) crosses a
text label; labels inside skewed shapes sit outside with a leader.
- DESIGN.md handling: take scale-independent identity (color, weight,
OpenType, radius character) literally, own scale-dependent values (type
size, spacing), load only open webfonts and never attempt proprietary
brand faces, skip decorative brand voltage, and apply a reading canvas
literally vs. extract-the-principle for a marketing/hero surface.
- Drops the now-unused active -> completed status span.
Updates config-template.yaml (ideate_output), the README ce-ideate row,
docs/skills/ce-ideate.md, and the rendering / ideate tests.
Plans no longer carry a status field, and ce-work no longer flips
active -> completed at ship time. A plan is a point-in-time decision
artifact; whether it shipped is derived from git, not stored in the doc --
consistent with how per-unit progress is already derived rather than
written.
Removes the field and lifecycle from ce-plan (SKILL.md resume gate,
plan-sections.md), the ship-time flip from ce-work and ce-work-beta
(SKILL.md, shipping-workflow.md, non-code-execution.md), and refreshes the
no-status note in brainstorm-sections.md. Updates docs/skills/ce-work.md and
the ce-plan / ce-brainstorm output-mode tests. The now-unused status span in
the shared HTML rendering references is dropped alongside the rendering
changes.
