`.npmrc` sets `minimum-release-age=1440` and, as its own comment explains, enumerates the `@ag-ui` exemptions one package at a time rather than trusting the upstream scope wholesale. Two packages the runtime already depends on were never added to that list: @ag-ui/mcp-middleware (packages/runtime, pinned 0.0.1) @ag-ui/mcp-apps-middleware (packages/runtime, pinned 0.0.3) Neither has moved in a while, so the omission has cost nothing so far. It starts costing the moment either is bumped to a fresh release: pnpm refuses a version published less than 24 hours ago and fails the install outright. `@ag-ui/mcp-middleware` is about to publish 0.0.2, which carries the fix for the duplicate `@ag-ui/client` tree (ag-ui-protocol/ag-ui#2689), so the bump PR would hit this first. Adding both names now means the follow-up pin bump lands on the release rather than waiting a day for the gate to age out. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
