The prepack script ran `pnpm run build` during `pnpm publish`, duplicating
the build that prerelease.ts/publish-release.ts already do across the
workspace. With tsdown's `exports: true` regenerating package.json's
exports field on every build, the second rewrite happened mid-publish
and pnpm's pack step failed with ENOENT on the staging tarball.
No other monorepo package has prepack — bringing a2ui-renderer in line.

- built-in-agent frontmatter: maxSteps defaults to undefined (AI SDK stops after one generation), not 1.
- built-in-agent examples: replace bare anthropic("claude-sonnet-4") / anthropicText("claude-sonnet-4") with the dated id "claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929" (AnthropicMessagesModelId in @ai-sdk/anthropic@3.0.49 does not accept the bare form).
- 0-to-working-chat Next.js: align catch-all with migration-playbook — use [[...slug]] so the bare /api/copilotkit basePath also routes.
- migration-playbook v1->v2 parameters: v1 entries default to required: true; only map to .optional() when required: false was explicit. Prevents silently flipping the contract.
- switching-agents Recipe 2 (Tabs): hold activeAgent in a ref so the onAgentsChanged subscribe effect only re-binds on copilotkit change, not on every tab click.
- a2ui-rendering custom-catalog example: use the real createCatalog(definitions, renderers) signature with Zod schemas; remove the bogus extractSchema<T>() generic (types erase at runtime).
- spa-without-runtime clipboard handler: correct the comment — returning a structured error does NOT trigger onError with tool_handler_failed; only thrown handlers do.
- Wrap the loading-skeleton provider example in children (was self-closing
while every other example wraps CopilotChat).
- Declare `const theme` in the custom catalog snippet so the `a2ui={{ theme,
catalog }}` spread isn't referencing an undefined identifier.
- Mirror the real built-in bridge's `if (copilotkit.properties)` guard in
the try/finally cleanup example so the pattern doesn't throw
`TypeError: Cannot destructure null` and mask the original runAgent error.
- Drop the "Explicit renderer" subsection: construction-only example
contradicted the adjacent "do NOT pass to renderActivityMessages"
anti-pattern and had no legitimate usage snippet.
- Clarify frontmatter: `createA2UIMessageRenderer` ships from
`@copilotkit/react-core/v2`; low-level primitives ship from
`@copilotkit/a2ui-renderer`. Removed stale `@ag-ui/a2ui-middleware`
reference since no example imports it.
- Wrap Python examples in `async def agent_generator():` and mark as
pseudocode (surface_id kwarg shape varies by A2UI SDK version).
- Soften the "only @copilotkitnext/angular" blanket claim to describe the
specific mistake instead.
- package.json: add per-condition `types` to the `exports` map so
`attw --profile node16` and TS `moduleResolution: node16/nodenext/bundler`
consumers resolve types correctly via both import and require.
- Replace custom { name, props } schema format with spec-aligned inline
catalog format (allOf + properties) so the LLM sees the same flat
structure it must produce — eliminates "props" nesting confusion.
- Restructure generation prompts: inline literal values are the default,
path binding is a narrow schema-driven exception for form inputs.
- Export InlineCatalogSchema type from a2ui-renderer.
Replace @a2ui/lit with @a2ui/web_core 0.9, introduce createCatalog() API for
custom component catalogs, add basic (18 components) and minimal (5 components)
built-in catalogs, CSS variable theming for dark mode, eliminate XSS vector
(dangerouslySetInnerHTML removed from Text component).
Reverts the copy-dts.mjs approach from #3612 in favor of typesVersions
which is the standard Node/TS mechanism for resolving subpath types
under legacy moduleResolution: "node".
Copies .d.cts → .d.ts after each tsdown build so consumers on
moduleResolution "node" (e.g. DocuSign) can resolve types without
changing their tsconfig. Also points the "types" field back to .d.ts.

`@a2ui/lit` registers the "a2ui-root" custom element via Lit's
@customElement decorator as a side effect when its UI module loads.
React Strict Mode double-mounts components, and since
customElements.define() is irreversible, the second mount throws:
"the name a2ui-root has already been used with this registry"
Several a2ui-renderer files used value imports from "@a2ui/lit" when
only types were needed, pulling in the full module tree including
the custom element registration. Changed to `import type` where
possible and switched to the narrower `@a2ui/lit/0.8` subpath
(core.js only, no UI/custom element registration) where value
access is needed.

Replace eslint and prettier with oxlint and oxfmt for faster linting
and formatting across the monorepo. Remove all eslint and prettier
configs, dependencies, and related packages. Add .oxlintrc.json and
.oxfmtrc.json for the new tooling. Update CI workflows and lefthook
hooks accordingly. Reformat codebase with oxfmt.

The previous publish workflow released 1.55.0-next.8 to npm but the
post-release commit failed to push to main (blocked by branch
protection). This applies the version bumps and pre.json updates that
the workflow would have committed, unblocking future releases.

After the V1/V2 consolidation merge, several changesets still referenced
old @copilotkitnext/* package names that no longer exist. Fixed package
references and ran changeset version to apply pending version bumps.

Flatten all packages from packages/v1/* and packages/v2/* into packages/* —
every package now lives directly under the @copilotkit/ scope with no v1/v2
subdirectories.
- Move all v1 packages (react-core, react-ui, runtime, shared, etc.) from
packages/v1/* to packages/*
- Absorb v2 react code into packages/react-core/src/v2/ (exported via /v2 subpath)
- Absorb v2 agent code into packages/runtime/src/agent/ (exported via /v2 subpath)
- Move v2 packages (core, angular, demo-agents, etc.) to packages/*
- Replace all @copilotkitnext/* imports with @copilotkit/* equivalents
- Keep @copilotkitnext/angular as the sole exception (angular remains on next)
- Update CI workflows, renovate config, release scripts for flat structure
- No public API surface changes — all exports fields are preserved
