The marked block that wires managed Intelligence is the region a hosted reader
copies verbatim, and nothing checked it. Both gaps were deliberate: the parity
manifest lists `src/app/api/copilotkit/**` under `allowedDivergence` for every
instance it tracks, and no `docker-compose.test.yml` sets
`COPILOTKIT_LICENSE_TOKEN`, so every smoke-tested starter takes the else arm and
the `intelligence:` arm has never run in CI.
The cost was already visible. The block's code was byte-identical in 21 of 22
starters, but its warning comment had drifted into five variants and the two
`ms-agent-framework-*` starters shipped the `demo-user` stub with no warning at
all. That drift is how the localhost default of OSS-981 survived in all 22
copies at once.
Add `scripts/validate-intelligence-wiring-block.ts`, which greps the opening
marker, compares every site against the north-star starter, and fails on the
first line that differs. Two normalisations keep it usable: the block is
dedented, because `agentcore` nests it deeper, and the else arm's runner name is
masked, because `agentcore` runs `AgentCoreRunner` in front of a Bedrock session
where an in-process runner has nothing to run. Everything else, comment text
included, must match to the byte.
Then unify the warning at all 22 sites on the fullest wording, which also says
the id must exist in Intelligence or thread operations can fail.
The check passes on day one, so it is a ratchet rather than a migration. It is a
shape gate, not a content gate: 22 identically wrong copies still pass. What it
guarantees is that a fix reaches all of them or none.
Not covered: enrolling the `intelligence:` arm in the smoke path. That needs a
license token in CI and a reachable endpoint from the compose network, and is
tracked separately.
CopilotKitIntelligence resolves apiUrl/wsUrl to the managed hosts when they are
omitted, and its own docstring says leaving both unset is always correct against
the managed service. Every starter's runtime route supplied
`?? "http://localhost:4201"` instead, so a managed reader who copied the block
got a runtime aimed at a local stack that is not running -- the failure the
starter's own .env.example warns about two files away.
Replace the fallbacks with the conditional spread these same starters already use
in channel-host.mts, so a self-hosted override still works and the managed
default applies when it is absent. Three .env.example files also set the values
uncommented, two of them directly under a comment telling the reader to leave
them unset; comment those out to match the other nineteen starters.
Guard both shapes in validate-intelligence-env-names.ts, which already polices
the canonical Intelligence key name and hosts and runs unfiltered on every PR.
The rule is the pattern rather than the literal, so a staging host substituted
for localhost fails the same way. Local e2e harnesses and demo stacks that
genuinely target a local deployment are allowlisted with their reasons.

## Summary
- Update locked Threads drawer copy in integration examples to use `npx
copilotkit@latest license`
- Keep the command consistent across the example variants that render
the licensed feature panel
## Validation
- Pre-commit hooks ran lint/check package hooks successfully
- Verified integration examples no longer render the stale `copilotkit
license` command
1.61.0 is now published. Regenerates all 20 starter package-lock.json files
so @copilotkit/* resolves to 1.61.0 and the transitive
@copilotkit/license-verifier moves 0.4.2 -> 0.5.0 (shipped by runtime@1.61.0).
ENT-939
Prep for the 1.61.0 release. Pins every @copilotkit/* dependency in the
examples/integrations starter projects to exact 1.61.0 (not yet published).
ENT-939
The previous lockfiles were written with `npm install --package-lock-only`,
which left out optional transitive deps (e.g. @emnapi/wasi-threads). The
Docker smoke-starter build runs strict `npm ci`, which then failed with
"package.json and package-lock.json not in sync" (crewai-crews, 9s fail).
Regenerated each lockfile with a full `npm install --ignore-scripts` so the
tree is complete. Verified `npm ci` now succeeds (crewai-crews, mastra) and
all resolve @ag-ui/client 0.0.57.
Follow-up to the @copilotkit 1.60.1 bump so the integration-demo parity
check passes. The north-star (langgraph-python) is now on 1.60.1, and the
_parity manifest requires every examples/integrations/* demo to track the
same @copilotkit version — so all integrations must move together.
- @copilotkit/* 1.60.0 -> 1.60.1 across the remaining integrations.
- Starter-fleet apps force a single @ag-ui tree via `overrides`
(@ag-ui/client|core|encoder|proto). Bump that single-tree pin
0.0.53/0.0.55 -> 0.0.57 so they actually carry the HttpAgent fetch fix
(Illegal invocation) instead of a 1.60.1<->0.0.55 skew. Adapter packages
(@ag-ui/crewai, @ag-ui/mastra, @ag-ui/llamaindex, @ag-ui/a2a, middlewares)
are left untouched.
- Lockfiles regenerated; all resolve @ag-ui/client 0.0.57.
Per-integration smoke-starter CI validates each starter against 0.0.57.
Bumps every @copilotkit/* pin (react-core, react-ui, runtime, a2ui-renderer,
sdk-js) from 1.59.5 to 1.60.0 across the threads-enabled integration examples,
and regenerates each package-lock.json to the 1.60.0 dependency closure.
Excludes the vestigial langgraph-python-threads example.
The locked-state card told users to add an Intelligence license with
`copilotkit add-intelligence`, but that command only drops the
Intelligence overlay and does not issue a license (and is not yet wired
into the CLI dispatch). The command that issues a license key is
`copilotkit license`.
Conflict resolution: take the rollout's parameterized contract test and
append the a2a-a2ui bespoke tests (namespaced helper, 1.59.3 pins).
Bump a2a-a2ui @copilotkit/* 1.59.1 -> 1.59.3 + regen lockfile. 49/49.

- langgraph-python: replace ephemeral pkg.pr.new URLs with stable @copilotkit/*@1.56.2
- mastra: wire dev to run ui + agent via concurrently (was only starting UI)
- Restore `|| scripts\setup-agent.bat` / `|| scripts\run-agent.bat` fallback across
12 starter templates so npm install + npm run dev work on Windows without Git Bash
- Remove '|| .bat' fallback from all starter package.json scripts so
real errors on Linux/macOS are not masked by a failing .bat attempt
- Fix typos: 'isseus' -> 'issues', 'interactin' -> 'interacting'
- Fix crewai-crews README title/body saying 'Flow' instead of 'Crew'
- Fix a2a-a2ui README wrong agent name and file path
- Remove phantom lint/dev:debug scripts from README Available Scripts
sections where those scripts don't exist in package.json
- Add missing dev:ui and dev:agent to mastra README
Reorder package manager instructions to show npm first as the default.
Remove stale 'ignores lock files' notes since lock file entries were
removed from .gitignore. All starters now work with npm, pnpm, yarn,
or bun — user's choice.
Starters should not constrain users to a specific package manager.
The .gitignore gets cloned into the user's project, so ignoring
certain lock files would prevent them from committing their chosen
package manager's lock file.
Flatten langgraph-python, langgraph-js, and mcp-apps starters so
npm install && npm run dev works out of the box. Replace Turborepo
with concurrently, move apps/* to root, update Dockerfiles, READMEs,
and entrypoints. Also remove stray pnpm-lock.yaml from a2a-a2ui and
ms-agent-framework-dotnet starters.
Templates had stale pinned versions ranging from 1.9.3 to 1.52.1.
The CLI does a verbatim sparse checkout of these files, so users
scaffolding via `copilotkit create` were getting old versions installed.

Follow-up to #3607 — the same problematic `import { v0_8 } from "@a2ui/lit"`
pattern existed in 4 example files. Switch to `@a2ui/lit/0.8` subpath for value
imports and remove an unused v0_8 import. Also broaden the lint rule glob to
cover `examples/` and prevent regression.

Replace eslint and prettier with oxlint and oxfmt for faster linting
and formatting across the monorepo. Remove all eslint and prettier
configs, dependencies, and related packages. Add .oxlintrc.json and
.oxfmtrc.json for the new tooling. Update CI workflows and lefthook
hooks accordingly. Reformat codebase with oxfmt.

Run prettier on ~1,865 files across examples/ to match the monorepo's
formatting standards. These files were imported as-is from standalone
repos that used different prettier configs.
SVG files are text-based XML averaging ~218 bytes each. LFS tracking
adds per-file HTTP fetch overhead with no storage benefit, suppresses
git diff output, and breaks tutorial clone instructions that use
GIT_LFS_SKIP_SMUDGE=1 (users get LFS pointers instead of icons).
