fix: reject invalid css unit decimals ( #10785 )

The length regex in `isCssUnit` had an unescaped `.`, which matched any
single character and accepted malformed values like `1a5rem` and `1-5rem`.
Escape it to a literal period and add regression coverage.

* Refactor slide animations to use CSS variables
Changed the slide animations to use CSS variables so you can control how far things slide from outside the component.
Added CSS variables for all the slide animations:
```css
--slide-from-top-distance
--slide-from-bottom-distance
--slide-from-left-distance
--slide-from-right-distance
--slide-to-top-distance
--slide-to-bottom-distance
--slide-to-left-distance
--slide-to-right-distance
```
Still defaults to 0.5rem if you don't set anything.
Example:
